WHY: Suicide is the most preventable cause of death
As a key stakeholder in the Queen Anne’s County Suicide Prevention Committee,
the Youthline Eastern Shore (YES-IMAlive) is the first teen peer hotline created with the goal to
prevent suicide in our county.
Anyone can be affected by depression, anxiety or other mental illnesses.

This time we have two upcoming events: the Lenten Study and the Ash Wednsday Service. Here is the information on the Lenten Study:
Travel with Adam Hamilton as he
retraces the life and ministry of Jesus Christ.
Once again, Hamilton approaches his subject matter
with thoughtfulness and wisdom.
Using historical information, archaeological data, and stories of the faith, Hamilton follows in the footsteps of Jesus
from his baptism
to the temptations
to the heart of his ministry,
- including the people he loved,
- the parables he taught,
- the enemies he made,
- and the healing he brought.
Study will be on Wednesday evenings, 7 pm. in Calvary Hall,
beginning February 20, 2013 and run through Lent.
All are invited to grow in the faith
as we “walk in the footsteps of Jesus” with Adam Hamilton.
